1991-1994 Worked at MASKO ATELIER under Yoshihiro Masuko

1994 Established Yasushi Horibe Architect & Associates

2002 Awarded the 18th Yoshioka Prize for Gallery in Ushiku

2007-2024 Professor, Graduate School, Kyoto University of Art & Science (Renamed as Kyoto University of the Arts in April 2020.)

2016 Awarded the Prize of AIJ (Architectural Institute of Japan)

2020 Awarded a MAINICHI DESIGN AWARD for “Architecture that is hard to leave”

2022- Professor, The Open University of Japan
