2007-2024 Professor, Graduate School, Kyoto University of Art & Science (Renamed as Kyoto University of the Arts in April 2020.)
2016 Awarded the Prize of AIJ (Architectural Institute of Japan)
2020 Awarded a MAINICHI DESIGN AWARD for “Architecture that is hard to leave”
