Design Studio

Founded in 2007 by Yuma Harada. Based in Osaka, Japan, the firm aims to visualize ideas and create new experiences through graphics, spaces, exhibitions, and project development, with a focus on projects related to culture, social welfare, and the community. The firm practices sustainable design through repeated dialogue and experimentation, emphasizing “thinking together, creating together.” The current eight members are Yuma Harada, Keisuke Yamazoe, Ryosuke Nishino, Yuka Tsuda, Kanae Hirakawa, Megumi Takahashi, Hazuki Osumi, and Atsumi Shirakawa. Major awards include the Good Design Gold Award 2016; Grand Prize in the Japan Sign Design Award; Best Work in the Japan Typography Annual; and Runner-up in the CS Design Award.
