The Now and Then of Japanese Architecture as Seen in Zines

  • Exhibition Concept

    The word “zine” refers to independently-produced magazines and visual books. Curated by the Centre for Co-Architecture Kyoto (led by Shinichi Kawakatsu), this exhibition will feature a collection of “zines” and rare architecture-related books made by young Japanese architects. Some of the exhibits will also be on sale. Experience the zine culture of the young generation of Japanese architects.
